Jain Honored for Outstanding Contributions to Scientific Medicine
Saint Louis University Professor of Pediatrics Ajay Jain, M.D., has earned the St. Louis Metropolitan Medicine Award of Merit. The St. Louis Metropolitan Medicine Society recognized Jain for his national leadership in pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition, excellence in research and clinical innovation, and advancing pediatric care, physician leadership, and organized medicine.
SLU’s President Meets Pope Leo XIV During Gathering of Jesuit University Leaders in Rome
The presidents of 19 Jesuit colleges and universities in North America recently traveled to Rome for a series of meetings coordinated by the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU). SLU President Edward Feser, Ph.D., who was joined by his wife Kathy Feser, said it was “deeply moving” to hear from and pray alongside the Holy Father.
Billikens Excited to See One of Their Own in World Cup
Every four years, soccer fans across the globe stop to watch the men’s soccer World Cup. Saint Louis University men’s soccer coach Kevin Kalish is no different. Kalish (CSB ‘99) has plans to meet up with old SLU teammates and enjoy the role of fan as he watches the United States men’s soccer team. Kalish will be tuning in for Round of 32 where the USMNT will face Bosnia and Herzegovina at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1.
