In this informal/optional event, students preparing to take CHEM 1110 or 1130 are welcome to meet some of this year’s gen chem instructors, learn about lecture and lab, and ask burning questions about the class and majoring/double-majoring in chemistry. A variety of candy — gloriously full of chemicals — will be provided.

Meet the Center for Social Action team and learn more about how to become involved in service and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives on and off campus. Community organizations looking for volunteers will also have booths set up in the Center for Global Citizenship (CGC) and along West Pine. Stop by and see how you can get involved in the community while having fun with carnival snacks.

With 20% of college-age women and 9% of college-age men being victims/survivors of sexual assault, we all need to get more comfortable talking about prevention, education, and response. This conversation isn’t meant to make you comfortable — It’s meant to make you better! Get ready to laugh, cry and walk away with new knowledge to end sexual violence and change the world.
