The platform initially is that you graduated or maybe, years later, it's promotions and so forth.The way I ask students to think about it is to climb to the top of that ladder, and then ask yourself, are you going to be the person who turns around and holds it? Or are you going to go on to the next level?The best reason to turn around and hold the ladder is that somebody held it for you. And I think that's the power of SLU, too. It's about people.
