"I had the honor and privilege of joining the Environment and Conservation of Africa class (EAS 4220) on their journey to Kenya this year. Having the opportunity to capture my peers' reactions to life-changing experiences was incredibly rewarding, especially because I was experiencing those same moments behind the camera. While seeing the wildlife was truly unforgettable, the most meaningful moments came from interacting with the people of Kenya. Our interactions with the local communities were always filled with positivity, joy, and curiosity, for we wanted to learn about their lives just as much as they wanted to learn about ours.
