- Robert I. Bolla, Ph.D.: 1943-2025Robert I. Bolla, Ph.D., former chair of the Department of Biology at Saint Louis University, died Sunday, July 27, 2025. He was 81. Bolla worked at SLU from 1989 to 2001.
