- SLU Expert Leads Push for New Speech Alert on Missouri IDsA new designation on Missouri driver’s licenses aims to protect individuals who stutter during interactions with law enforcement and first responders. The medical alert notation, which went into effect in late August, is the result of a multi-year advocacy effort led by Christine Rose, a speech-language pathologist at Saint Louis University.
- SLU Senior Receives Prestigious Newman Civic FellowshipSaint Louis University senior Russell Hooker Jr. has been named a 2025-2026 Campus Compact Newman Civic Fellow. The Newman Civic Fellowship is a year-long program that recognizes and supports community-committed students who have demonstrated an investment in finding solutions for some of society's toughest challenges. The fellowship is named in honor of Frank Newman, one of Campus Compact's founders.

- SLU Students Visit Rome for 2025 Jubilee, Audience with Pope Leo XIVEight Saint Louis University students, along with a Jesuit in Formation and two campus ministers, went to Rome before the fall semester began to participate in the Jubilee of Young People.
