SLU Theatre and Dance Faculty Nominated for Theatre Circle Awards

Saint Louis University Theatre and Dance faculty will be well represented at the 2025 St. Louis Theatre Circle Awards.
The St. Louis Theater Circle promotes and honors regional professional theater in St. Louis. Annually, the group hands out awards to honor the top work from the previous year. The nominations for the 2025 were recently announced, and SLU faculty were well represented among the nominees.

Full-time SLU faculty members Gary Wayne Barker, professor of theatre; Nancy Bell, professor of theatre; Lucy Cashion, associate professor of theatre; and Denisse Chavez, assistant professor of visual and performing arts, all received nominations for their work with various productions. Adjust faculty member Joel Moses, theater, was also recognized by the St. Louis Theater Circle.
Additionally, several SLU alumni were nominated.

The innovative aircraft will be able to drop a person and supplies into areas hard hit by natural disasters or other humanitarian crises. A grant from GoAERO, with support from NASA’s University Innovation project, funded the challenge.
- New Sculpture in Pius XII Library Invites Reflection on "Land, Labor, Legacy"Before stepping down as Saint Louis University's president this summer, Fred P. Pestello, Ph.D., and First Lady Fran Pestello, Ph.D., offered a gift to the SLU community. During a reception Monday afternoon in the Pius XII Memorial Library, the Pestellos helped unveil a new sculpture they are donating to the University. The sculpture, titled "Land, Labor, Legacy," was created by Ohio artists Kyle and Kelly Phelps.
